We would like to encourage students to exchange information concerning what they find out about the rivers in their area. They can exchange information about a number of river measures or projects.

Exchanges can be arranged in several ways. First, we could have students working on particular projects use personal electronic mail to share data and written materials about their watershed. Second, we can establish electronic mailing lists of groups of students and teachers who wish to exchange information on particular subtopics. Information sent to these lists would be distributed to everyone who wished to receive it.

If you wish to participate in any of these exchanges, please send electronic mail to our administration. Formal exchanges require the participation of a teacher. Teachers interested in beginning such exchanges should send us:

1. An electronic mail address
2. Your school name and address
3. The name(s) and general locations of the streams you will be studying
4. A short description of the type of exchange you would like to participate in. This should include subject area(s), format of the exchanges desired (individuals and/or groups), and any other questions you might have concerning the project.
